The money members pay is used to pay for having an Americas Army Honor Server.
Even if you host your own server (like we do) it cost 40$ a month to have an honor server (Official honor server registration).

Punkbuster is an attempt to make it harder for cheaters to, well, cheat. The system specifically works in a number of different ways. And is continually updated to combat new ways of cheating as they are discovered.
Therefor Punkbuster is made so it auto updates whenever needed... Or it's supposed to anyway. Sometimes it fails tho. And the result is an updated server won't accept you and will keep kicking you off.
To fix that you need to update the Punkbuster installation:
1. First you need to locate your Americas Army Punkbuster installation. On Windows it's in the Americas Army installation folder under 'system/pb'. On Mac it's the same place. Only you need to right-click the 'Army Operations' application bundle and select the 'Show Package Content' context-menu item to see the resource files.
2. Then you need download the files from this page: Americas Army Punkbuster Download.
2a. Get the pbsec.htm file from the 'For Players' link - under the PunkBuster (AA) Security Files header - and save it in the 'system\pb' folder.
2b. Get the two platform specific files - from under the PunkBuster (AA) Player Client Files header - and save it in 'system\pb\htm' folder.
3. Well. You should be done. Fire up Americas Army and give it a try ;)

Our TAG [ C ] is bulit in the following way
[2 spaces Capital letter C 2 spaces] = [ C ]
correct use of TAG in emails and other stuff is
[ C ]Nickname

in AAO spaces are not allow som you register your name and TAG with underscores replacing the spaces.

It seems there are several channels when playing AAO. To do global chat while playing (when you are not dead) you need to first use the 'g' key (default) and select the global channel.
